Maligned...

QS says I'm a womanizer... wad the heck?

I'm already fed up with having soooooo many rejections... How can I be a womanizer?????? ugh...

Last night celebrated Caleb's farewell, not bad, xept the pasta was abit tastelese... The meat I cook was overcooked, salty and the drumstick not cooked... Haha... At least the hotdogs came out right...

We had durian and honey dew for deserts... Nick was sharing his experience with us about NS, alot of things for Caleb to take note...

After that went to Jon's place for mahjong and "tah" a glass of red wine... The wine was dry at 1st, after that it became smoother and smoother, very rich and fragrant... Nice...

1 round of MJ went home straight... Thank God I was still sober... if not I would've to stay at Jon's place... crowded like mad... hah...

I'm back!!!

Really thankful to God for allowing such a wonderful trip :)

Alot of things I've learnt, really to rely on God's strength, the more I try to use my own strength, the more I hurt myself... Prepared Gortex boots but end up hurt my pinkies & toes, still twisted BOTH my ankles, busted my right knee and both thigh were hardened and hurt like mad. Brought 100Plus and Red bull, end up still have not enough energy to climb "properly". Brought Sunscreen but forgot to use, end up sun burnt... Haha, I was the joke of the day...

The climb to checkpoint 4 was rather short. Sad to say we left Jiawei behind with Mr. Tan, we had to sacrifice him coz he couldn't take it to CP1...

We set up camp at CP4, the water was great, crystal clear, icy and refreshing! The air was crisp and cool, very fresh and relaxing.

Dinner was rather light. Din't start a campfire, too much wood to find...
Started packing for sleep. Because not everyone was with us we had to sacrifice one tent, left with one tent to squeeze in 10 people.

I was the 1st few inside, quite comfortable, ended up at the legs of everyone else, ended up slping outside the tent - u're really quite a damn selfish person... Really a boot licker, I open up to get my things you make damn much noise, Mr. Tay shine light on u guys for fun nv say anything....

Early morning pack light, leave camp with Darren behind looking after... I lagged behind... At CP-KFC i really wanted to give up... I wanted to stay there and wait for them... Our guide told us CP7 is only 5mins away so I just go... suddenly it's 30mins, still middle of no where...

I saw the path ahead, I wanted to faint... I asked God to give me strength and I tried to push on. When the reached the CP, I was still climbing like mad... Guess wad? It's only CP6... Our guide lied... UGH! I just told them I want to give up...

Mr. Tay said "Liwen they all also reached the summit, you want to give up?"

Okaaay.... Fine....... I guess 2 more CPs won't die... Little would I expect it to be sooooooo tough.
After a few climbs of only ROPES & ROCKS, I really drag myself - HANDS & KNEES... I was crawling! Towards Bukit Botak I kept trying to push on, I was frustrated and was like "To hell with it!!!" trying to push, but still I had to stop after every few climb...

It's then, I realised I rely too much on myself, I really thank God that Jonathan helped me carry my pack. I had an easier time climbing without it, I started to sing praises, asking God to be with me. From then on, I was no longer dizzy or short of breath, i was cruising for quite some time

We reached the summit!!! WOOHOO!!! The air was really clean, it was kinda dry though. The view was great! I forgottened all my sprained ankles and "sogginess", suddenly there was air-con. clouds came by, the sun shone mightily, God's presense with all of us! Really beautiful.

Lunch at the top, den it was time to come down... Maybe I rested enough at the top. But most probably it's God's strength, I was the 1st few to rush down back to CP4 with my backpack.

We started bathing, it was really really refreshing! I soaked my sorrowful feet in the icy cold waters, natural water have healing properties i guess, no pain after the bath... Cook dinner, we tried to finish what we have, powder up started a fire and went to slp..

Few of us slpt outside, the tent was free, it was shiok.. The weather became very cold... I didn't want to use the slping bag coz I want my pillow... But still it was too cold... In the middle of the night i was coughing, snoring, coughing... Den I cudn't feel my legs! Moved them, and I thought I'd be fine in the morning...

Well, I was wrong! I couldn't stand when I wake up, I was not ready to go... It's a steep and long way down... So we started packing the stuff... Started with prayer and moved off... I was without shirt, only a jacket on...

Arh arh arh every step I took walking downwards... The guys made fun of me but I just thank God, I wasn't the one who fell, I didn't have not enuff water. I NV drank any river water...

I sweated as if I just bathed, I wished I can slide down or something... Every single step I take, killed me... I counted how many times I twisted my left ankle... 5 painful times... 1 time on the right...

I just thank God he brought me back alive... Really greatful, throughout he held the weather for us, he brought us up and down safely, the decisions made were foolish at 1st but became clear after we've seen His plans... It's really marvellous to see God's plans unrevelled slowly before our very eyes.... I love it! Thank God!!!

Finally I'm scared....

Nervous, worried, something tells me I'm not prepared...

Maybe it's way out of my comfort zone, maybe it's Ms Joyann's uttering of "What if cannot come baq?" We all told her it wouldn't happen...

I hope, pray and wish my head out so...

Cell group was rather fast... Caleb brought rice dumpling and we spent our Duan Wu Jie at 589a... Usual, chit-chat... Toking about crocs shoes, Ophir trip, etc.

Went to prata shop and supper... B4 went there, another round of "What if cannot come baq?"...
It's like why? Say until as if something is going to happen?

During the trip back home, we were affirming with each other that IT won't happen... But who knows? Maybe God has His plans...

Now, it's my turn to worry.... Suddenly I ask myself what if I can't come back??? Maybe I can't find enough clothes, but I can't pack so much... I fear alot of things... What if I can't come baq, myu parents will blame BB or worse, the church...

Who is going to assure my family's salvation? I haven't have a wife! Haven't finish my church camp games... Gliderz website, it will stop at month 6? What will become of my things?

My xbox will go to jacky, my software & laptop goes to kang wei, guitar one for yi herng one for jolie, my memorables - with me in my grave... this PC must be sold alway... all my other stuff will belong to my parents... My heart will be for her... Organs donated to those who nid it...

..................... Is this stupid? I how all theses will not happen... PRAYER...

"The BV6000!"

Wallace & Gromit was great! The plot was funny, very suitable for filming... The set up of the projector/laptop etc. in 589A was wonderful, food was plenty, more than enough.

The major drawback was.... Very few turned up... At least 19 ppl voted for the film, end up only 8 of us were there... Ok, many factors to count, there was the rain, then following by "tml's O leve chinese..." and the most important one - never plan early...

I think if we were to have this kind of event, we definitely got the resources, but we need to work hard to invite friends over. Especially if you see our pass events, there's seldom people not from the church... It's abit sad really... I'm guilty of unable to bring friends in as well...

Especially being the publicity, I think I'm not doing a good job... I'm out of my wits what I can do with a committee that feels so ad-hoc... We're very scattered if anyone realised, there's no fixed meetings like quarterly or debriefs after every session... We're very busy with our own work, life, sch, etc.

I see it as a vicious cycle, the less ppl we bring in, the longer we have to hold on to our posts, being tied down to many jobs... If we've come to realised, if we don't step out of our comfort zone, we'll be more uncomfortable - it gets warmer and warmer until your butt heats up like a stove...

Went to return the DVD, rented Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of The Black Pearl... Damn nice show! Ok la, give it 3.5 out of 5 stars... Not as captivating as the trailers... Fun to watch though :)

Time packed

Like an air-tight ziploc bag.... No space, cannot breath...

Been rehearsing drums like sooooooo often and so many times, so many songs... My back ache really bad... And I've got no time to practise my W3 session...

I have to put JJRG aside for now.

Ophir in next week, Church camp the week after... Still have to deal with family and stuff...

The most sickening thing is I lost my voice... UGH!

Anger leads to sin...

... and disappointment, sadness and alot of other stuffs.... Frustrations, bitterness, hatred...

The "lowest" one did it again... Ppl waited for us to finish, 3++ hrs just to have dinner 2gether, end up gave us wrong place, start eating 1st, nv wait... Real damn selfish. Want to please the higher authority issit? Guess u were right...

I've disappointed someone... This time really bad... All I got to say I'm really sorry, I need your forgiveness, I'm foolish to do those things... Whatever I have to do just tell me, all to make it up like before... I don't wish to end this way... It's really sad...

The Da Vinci Code movie...

Basically it's loads of rubbish... But the screenplay, the chain of events and how it was presented was brilliant...

Funny to see Luc Besson acting, coz after all he's the big french director (frenchies are known to be cocky...)

There were very very familiar faces... Tom Hanks really looked like Chandler Bing in Friends. Silas (the monk) looked really alot like Kane from WWE. Then there's magneto or the white wizard form X-men & Lord of the Rings respectively...

The story just tries to tear down the faith of not just Christianity but from what I see all religions in the world. The very fact that the whole movie centers around Jesus and Mary Magdelane just condamns all other religions.

It also tears down the image of Catholics, portraying Opus Dei as a religion which carries out rituals of self-motification. I was wondering why how they would've felt... Probably angry and insulted.

Then there's the part where they were proclaiming that Jesus was a mere man, and is married to Mary Magdelane... Suddenly there were "Gospels" from Mary herself and Philip... Ugh.. it's just rubbish...

During the movie, they portrayed the fake truth as the good guys, a false cult as bad guys, it's really a very good deception. Thats why I say the presentation is brilliant... It just makes you think at the end of the movie that ya, based on history, it's true...

But PLEASE REMEMBER! It's still is a FICTION - NOT TRUE...

There were enjoyable moments, like the trickery of smart asses against the police. and the wonderful french! I understand what they are saying while u guys have to read subtitles! hah! Fleur de lieus - Lily flower... National Flower of france... hahas...

If I am Henry...

I'd stay at Highbury oops! I mean Ashburton Grove untill Arsenal wins the Champions League...

Reason very simply... Arsene Wenger made Henry what he is today, without Arsene Wenger, there'll be no Thierry Henry... In other words, Henry owes Wenger what he is today... Of course throughout the seasons Henry worked hard for Arsenal... But Still leaving Wenger when he is needed the most is not the way, definitely not after Vieira left...

Of course I can see Wenger has a back up plan... Theo Walcott... my gosh, not even featured in the U21 squad... Already in First Team England squad... Never an Arsenal match... Never ever proved himself... Yet everyone's talking about him... 3 years younger den me...

Arsenal is in a big mess right now... Thankfully there's Champions League next season... Some people don't understand why Champions League is important... Other than 3 million pounds per match, at least $12 million for TV rights... A double amount for ticket charge, and free advertisement to the rest of Europe or rest of the World...

Although qualifying rounds, it means more money coz more matches to be played =P So Arsenal, you'll have to jiayou...

If I were Arene Wenger...

... I'd killed the referee!!!

Champions League ref admits: I should have played advantage

The Norwegian referee in charge of Wednesday's Champions League final in Paris has admitted he was wrong to send Arsenal keeper Jens Lehmann off in the first half.

In the 18th minute of the final which Barcelona won 2-1 Lehmann committed a blatant professional foul against Barca striker Samuel Eto'o just outside the penalty area.

As Eto'o crashed to the ground, his team-mate Ludovic Giuly took possession of the ball and scored.

But referee Terje Hauge elected not to play advantage, blowing his whistle instead as soon as Eto'o was fouled.

So from a position where it could have been 1-0 to Barcelona and a yellow card for Lehmann, it was a free-kick on the edge of the area - from which Barca's Ronaldinho did not score - and a red card for the German keeper.

"With the benefit of hindsight, I must admit that I should have waited before blowing the whistle," Hauge told NRK public radio on Thursday.

"I should certainly have waited to see where the ball was going.

"Four or five seconds after I blew the whistle, the ball was in the goal. But since I had already whistled, I had no choice. So the goalkeeper got the red card and Barcelona a free kick," he said.

Hauge said his prompt whistle was explained by the fact that he was "tense and very attentive".

"It would have been best to wait a few seconds. If I had done that, I could have given the goal and shown the yellow card," he told the Dagbladet newspaper.

"In other circumstances I might have acted differently, but this depends essentially on where one is positioned," he added.

"Of course it was a big match for Arsenal and to lose is very disappointing. I understand they are frustrated. But let's give them a few days and we can discuss more reasonably," he told Dagbladet.

Hauge's performance has been strongly criticised by the press in Lehmann's home country, Germany, and by the Arsenal side, who claim that Barcelona's actual first goal, an equaliser, should have been disallowed due to an offside position.

"It is clear that in matches which are this important there are always things open for discussion," Hauge said. "But at the end of the day, we have no reason to be too dissatisfied."

20th June 2006 - 3PM

My graduation ceremony! Wooo Hooo!

Finally, the final and last thing to be associated with Schooling! I've got 2 RSVP-ed invites to join me, who wish to come? Hahas :)

Well well, looks like boss has been holding people's pay! Not just me... And there's something wrong with the amount...

So far only Kang and Kitty didn't get hold baq... Guess what Kitty told me? "He dare? Everyday I take MC. ..." Power! As for Kang... well... everyone knows he's somebody's favourite =x No offence....

Today as we were finishing our dinner, the brothers came in, return uniform and claim the rest of their pay... SO long ago?? Now den take????? dunno... screw up... They were telling me that the other 2 Js left also because of holding back of pay and incorrect amount recieved...

Anyway... finally see money in the bank... Initially $5+ inside... After cheque banked in I got $48+... I nv tot abt it... It's only after tonight... When that 2 got me thinking.. how come so little? I did worked alot...

Obviously $43 is just about 10hrs pay... And I've definitely worked more than 3 nights a month... Be it after 26 Mar or 1 Apr... I remembered clearly consequtive 3 mondays i've worked in Apr becoz ALL 3 are with boss... then there's 2 times tues immediate next day work... of coz I remember very very clearly 2nd week of Apr I din't work much coz of Tonsils...

I'm not sure how... But I don't think I worked so little in a month... Well... I've spoken to Lau.. Guess it's up to Boss and God... I don't wanna say anymore... This is black and white, if next month's pay is not on time, I'll just resign...

Sometimes WORDS are better than SPEECH...

Actually it's all the time... Except when you're lazy to read... But in that case you'd can't be bothered to listen as well...

I face really really big prob with my speech, I wonder why... It often take me a lot of planning before I start to open my mouth...

Like the time I wanted to "biao bai" to Michelle... But it took me 4 years to open my damn mouth... What did I do? Just thought to myself "I'll never see her again after today, it's now or never...". It got me talking but you guys know the story...

Then there's Job opportunies, where I almost made it as senior in APB or TBC's Captain... All which probably will bring me lot's of wealth, but that's not the case is it?

Also, it's probably the reason why I'm not a founders man. It got me thinking after this retreat, I'm not sore by not being one, but It got me thinking what is the value of a founders' man. If Ah Peh cannot express himself on his qualities, unable to show his potential, or not even a slightest influence, I think he'd be like me.... Not founders' man material... But at least he qualifies to be one, I still lack of NDP badge...

Another incident was the choosing of Church Camp theme song... I knew exactly why "You Are Near" would definitely make it but because I just couldn't find the right words... I let the chance slipped... Even post meeting email did not help...

The list would probably go on and on... What I'm trying to say here - or rather type, is that, please allow me time to speak my mind, I HATE IT when YOU DON'T LISTEN to EVERYTHING I SAY and interupt me with YOUR OWN IDEAS...

I'm not as charismatic, I am slow and have lower self-esteem... SO... Let me speak my mind... Understand me, don't take my speech and judge my words... UNDERSTAND where I'm coming from... Thank You...

I can't catch it....

can't catch what u're saying....
can't catch any hints at all...
can't catch the jokes...
can't catch the show...
can't catch the fun...
can't catch the ball... I let in the stupid goal...

I'm always on the different frequency... Different taste, different preference, different point of view...

I can't agree on certain things, I can't agree on alot of things...

I'm just an alien... Extra, don't blend in...

Later got Officers' Retreat... I'm not prepared. I lost all my time to other things.... Admin's in a terrible mess. I need to buck up I guess... Adventure on the hand really really weird... Donno wad to tell them also... It's just adventure...

Working on Sat nite... NV worked that shift for a bloody long time... Feel kinda weird... there's probably going to have loads of ppl pouring in... And yea... BOSS OWES ME MY PAY... 15 over days... He sux.... Lau also complain... I guess for him he has revenge... But for US it's really to rely on God's providence and deliverence....

Bros, fall ill le? Hope u 2 have a speedy recovery... Heard u lost ur HP... Wait for ur bdae? Hahas... See wad we can do :)

Thank God!

Long time no blog...

Guess my slacking around lately has been a great one :) Ever since the last day of exams I've been filling my time with slacks =p Well, here's the updates:

Easter, kinda sad actually... We're all looking forward to QS's batism but some how or rather his dad discouraged him. And well, as a good son and testimony, he of course had to listened to his dad :( Well, probably God has another plan :)

Enrolment service was kinda same-o same-o... Maybe just this time where we had extras - the ava crew which really isn't nesscesary... They were the worst bunch of crew I've seen in sembawang history, probably sec 1s. Other than that, the whole event was kinda screwed up again... The rehearsal was very unpleasant with stalls and delays almost every moment... Actual run of the event had very very little visitors, both church members and parents. In fact other than Bro Arthur Law and Bro John Ng, there were no other non-BB related church members. Dun count Richard Lim and Jiaying... Pastor Edmund is invided guest, not counted =P

There's the Good Friday celebrations, the staying over at 589A was definitely not nesscesary... At least for me... had the worst time of my life trying to sleep... Accused of being louder then 7.1 digital dolby surrond speakers - by a 2.1, 3.1 and a 2 pcs speaker set... Heck... I was the last to sleep, 1st to wake... No blankets, no sleeping bag, just a pillow and 2 cushions in a cold, dry container... Oh ya, with tonsilities just recovering...

Well, that aside, the event went smoothly, and thank God for the many youths who attended the event.. Hopefully they learnt some things about passover/good friday. My skit turned out into a video, a 45min roleplaying event into a 5:11min screening.. hahas, God has nice plans :)

Before Good Friday...
A few sessions of mahjong, speech day....
The drill was great, saw Dzul and Benedict... Nicole as well... erm... Such a long time... Time flies so fast... Nicole... right, moving on...
Was so sick that I couldn't think properly, tried to tahan until the whole speech day finish but up until the stage segment, I bore my last migrane - staggard to front gate, dragged myself to back gate and off to Sun Plaza and hailed a taxi...
The rest was panadol and zzzz

B4 falling sick, Kara with Jon, Ken, Thong & SQ... Erm, the place still sux la... Bad service, bad air... of coz the songs are quite updated, still I can't compare it to Kbox or Party World... Halo bar is in my black list~ Like I said, I dun mind paying for Kara... Shiokness is the criteria :)

Right... Arsenal VS Villareal, Hopefully a 3-0 match and the next leg shall be a reserves match =P Go ARSENAL!!!
